Last Call for NBC Universal Fall Interns!


There are still MANY internship opportunities available at NBC Universal – for their Fall Internship Program. These opportunities include spots at Bravo, iVillage, Oxygen, MSNBC, Weekend Today, and many more!

Required Qualifications

· In pursuit of an Associate, Bachelor or Graduate degree
· Current class standing of sophomore or above (30 credits)
· Eligible to receive academic credit
· Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above
· Must be 18 years of age or older
· Authorized to participate in an unpaid internship in the U.S.

Preferred Qualifications:

· Previous work experience in an office environment
· Previous internship experience

Ann Taylor Needs Fall Interns


There are multiple internships available for Fall 2012 with ANN, Inc, the corporate company for Ann Taylor and LOFT.

ANN, Inc is seeking college students at all levels. It’s a rare opportunity to learn the business, grow your skills and explore the avenues for future success. The ability to work a minimum of 16 hours per week is a must for all internships listed below. 

1. Social Media Internship – Ann Taylor

Key Responsibilities:
•Conducting proactive digital outreach to influential fashion/lifestyle bloggers, cultivating influencer relations for the brand and liaising with the PR team
•Coordinating blogger & client gifting
•Managing and responding to customer service inquiries across social media channels
•Assisting the social media team in posting digital content to Facebook, Twitter and Tumblr
•Assisting the social media team in measuring and tracking campaign performance
•Coordinating the delivery and deployment of digital assets
•Researching social media best practices, up-and-coming blogger influencers, innovative campaigns and digital trends

2. Email Marketing Internship – Ann Taylor

Key Responsibilities:
•Support email team with weekly email campaign schedule including creative requests, set-up, testing, deployment and monitoring of email delivery
•Contribute and assist with the development of email creative test plan including creative, subject line, copy and landing page tests.
•Utilize various reporting tools to pull campaign results, analyze data and prepare daily email summaries
•Maintain an up-to-date competitive email binder consisting of historical email calendar schedule, subject line comparisons, promotional email examples and other creative samples across competitive set.
•Help identify email themes and messages that would be appropriate for various client segments.

Well-Established Magazine Looking for Fall Intern!


Good Housekeeping is looking for a Digital Intern for the Fall 2012 semester to help with social media, the website and more.

RESPONSIBILITIES
-During your internship, you will likely have the opportunity to help with social media campaigns for a variety of features in the magazine, assist with mobile app development and video content, and help produce stories for the website.
-You will also help with story research.
-The winning candidate must also be willing to perform the small administrative tasks that make a magazine work.

QUALIFICATIONS
-Good Housekeeping is looking for someone who is tech- and internet-savvy, a strong writer, reliable, organized, and eager to learn.
-Applicants with magazine/website internship experience or college journalism experience are preferred.
-You must be able to receive course credit and work at least two days a week in our New York City office.

Maximize Your Job Search


Maximize your Job Search process with Career Services at Fordham! 

Now, to make the application process a little bit easier… you can not only apply to jobs through CareerLink, Fordham’s Exclusive Online Job Database, but you can also post your resume on CareerLink as part of a "Resume Book"!

Recruiters will have access to the resume books through the Career Services Department, and will contact you if they are interested in your academic talent, experience and/or skill set.  Using this feature allows you to expand the number of recruiters that are able to view your resume.

To take advantage of the Resume Book feature... and upload your resume today!

HOW TO:
1. Log in to your CareerLink account. (Using your my.Fordham login info.)
2. On the home page, click on the "Documents" tab.
3. Then, click on the "Opt-In Resume Book" tab.
You will then see your resume(s) and the button on the right called, "Select Resume Books". 
4. Click on “Select Resume Books”.
5. Then, check off the box next to the Resume Book which features the industry that best suits you.
6. Finally… hit "Submit".
Feel free to choose as many industry Resume Books that fit you. Your resume will need to be uploaded onto CareerLink in order for you to opt-in to the Resume Book feature. 

**Before opting in to a Resume Book, make sure that your resume is reviewed, that you don't have any grammatical mistakes. Your format should be consistent. You should feel confident in your resume, because many employers will view it!

The Career Services staff is happy to help – and is available to review and assist you in editing your resume anytime. Make sure to set up an appointment on CareerLink before opting in to the Resume Book feature.

FOX News Internship Available for the FALL


PR Internship available for Fall 2012 at FOX News Channel's public relations department.  Student should be energetic, organized and possess good writing and communication skills with a strong desire to excel in the field of public relations.

SOME RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
·         Help assemble daily clips packet.
·         Monitor news clips and transcribe relevant information.
