Digital Marketing and Social Media Internship available at DoctorOz.com!

Dr. Oz Digital, the online arm of The Dr. Oz Show and its host, Dr. Oz, is seeking a digital production intern for the fall semester to assist with social media and various other digital tasks. This is a part-time, unpaid internship.

Internship Description:

- Gain exposure and experience in the daily administrative and office duties, as well as the daily production of DoctorOz.com

- Plan, craft and execute the social strategy of a major TV brand

- Work to understand how social media and various other digital properties play into a television broadcast.

- Coordinate with producers and APs to learn how to organize permissions releases, legal agreements and other integral paperwork

- Gain direct experience by helping with website production  for  a major health and wellness website

- Working with a small team will allow the candidate to learn about  and observe planning sessions, production meetings and content strategies

- Gain exposure to the relationship between digital media and show-side production including attending tv production meetings and studio recordings

- Candidate will have the opportunity to pitch creative ideas for all site formats including quizzes, health challenges, articles, recipes, etc.

Requirements:

- College must offer credit for the internship from candidate’s university

- A minimum 3.3 cumulative GPA

- 18 years or older

- Ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, a strong writer, computer savvy, reliable and possess a strong interest in digital media

- Must have a strong knowledge of various social media platforms, specifically Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and Google Plus. Prior work on the social presences of a brand(s) is preferred.

- A general knowledge of content management systems is a plus

- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite of services
