Sageworks, Inc. is looking for a Media Relations Intern for
the Fall semester.
In this internship, you’ll be able to take ownership of
significant responsibilities and projects that will make a measurable impact on
the success of the company. We value the contributions of our interns, and we
expect high quality work in return. The internship would be paid, and
opportunities for full time employment post-graduation are available.
Several of our former interns are currently working at the company in a
full-time capacity.
The range of
initiatives is dynamic but will include:
- Participate actively in public relations campaigns at a
national level
- Have regular communication via phone, email, and mail with
economic and financial reporters, producers, and editors
- Craft pitches and story ideas with the Media Relations
team
- Assist in mail campaigns, daily press clips, and other
special initiatives
Hours:
- We’re looking for current undergraduate candidates in the
New York City area who will be available to work part-time during the school
year for the Fall Semester of 2014. If candidates are interested in starting
sooner, we may be able to accommodate.
- Candidates should expect to work 10-20 hours/week
Compensation:
- Interns are paid $15/hour
