We are looking for creative, motivated student with good communication and PowerPoint skills, who is eager to learn and gain hands-on experience. The month long at-home assignment consists of reviewing and organizing data and publishing an attractive PowerPoint presentation which will be reviewed by business partners.
The hours worked will be compensated and the assignment requires at least two in-person meetings at our Chelsea office.

Since 1980, the Boys & Girls Club of Harlem has been providing after-school, school vacation, holiday and summer programming to youth ages 6 to 18 from Harlem and the surrounding communities.. The Boys & Girls Club of Harlem’s vision in part, is to develop young minds, instill character, and foster leaders of tomorrow by delivering relevant youth services in a positive environment.
We need work study, field practicum, interns, volunteer and mentors interested in developing rewarding and fulfilling relationships with deserving youth of the community.

Resource Center for Community Development (The HopeLine) - Part-Time Operations Manager
We are a small community service non-profit organization located in the South Bronx. We are working to improve the quality of life through our food pantry and clothing bank, English as a Second Language program, immigration counseling and other community-oriented educational and information programs to help inner city residents.
We have an opening for an energetic and motivated person who is a recent graduate or working towards a degree in Social Services and/or Management, to be our Operations Manager part time.
The successful candidate will have strong interpersonal and communication skills, be bilingual (Spanish) and have the ability to address issues and solve problems. Under the direction of our Board of Directors you will be involved in the management of the Food and Clothing Bank program, ESL Literacy program and other programs; and with volunteers, fundraising and office administration.
Pay range is $17 to $18 per hour.
