Fall Accounting Internship at GE!


GE is looking for an Accounting Intern for the fall!

Summary:
As part of the GE North America Finance team and supporting the growth of our $5B+ North American portfolio, you will be responsible for preparing journal entries, reconciliations, balance sheet and income statements, account analysis and assisting with various ad hoc requests. This position is located in Stamford, CT.

Position Description:
- Responsible for day-to-day accounting and reporting for assigned area of responsibility.
- Assists in the preparation of monthly financial reporting schedules.
- Prepare reconciliations and account analysis.
- Assist with ad hoc requests.
- Assist in process improvement and simplification initiatives.

Work week will be between 10 to 15 hours.

Basic Qualifications:
- Pursing a Bachelor's Degree in accounting with a minimum of 2 years of course credit.
- Proficiency in electronic spread sheets.

- Must be able to satisfy the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act.
- Must have unrestricted authorization to work in the United States
- Must be willing to comply with pre-employment screening, including but not limited to drug testing, reference verification, and background check.
- Must be willing to work out of an office in Stamford, CT
