Become an Intern for the Institutional Participation Team at ITHAKA (www.ithaka.org) and be a part of JSTOR, Portico, and Ithaka S+R as they serve the academic community. At ITHAKA, you will experience working at a mission-driven, not-for-profit organization that values creative thinking, collaboration, and collegiality.  We are looking for an intern that is able to work a part-time schedule during the school year. This is a PAID internship!

About the position:
JSTOR’s Institutional Participation team manages the outreach and relationship management activities for the JSTOR platform (www.jstor.org), including the JSTOR Archive Collections, the Current Scholarship Program (CSP), the new Books at JSTOR initiative, as well as the Portico preservation services (www.portico.org).

What you will do:
• Manage and distribute correspondence
• Distribute un-assigned emails
• Assist with miscellaneous data-entry projects
• Process Riders/Agreements
• Process Archive Renewal fee requests
• Assist with early renewal invoice requests
• Assist in preparing presentations for customer meetings
• Assist in preparing proposals
• Provide general information about JSTOR to interested parties (who are not inquiring directly about beginning participation), create opportunity, notify appropriate party

Your skills:
• Advanced level with MS Office suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
