What is a Career
View?
A Career View is an event hosted by the Office of Career
Services, in which we take a group of Fordham students on a “site visit” to a
company to obtain “behind-the-scenes” information about how the company
operates on a daily basis. Students are offered a firsthand introduction to the
world of work and the culture of various companies and organizations. Career
Views are a great opportunity for students to begin networking, and could
possibly lead to internships, mentoring and part or full-time career
opportunities! To RSVP for a Career View, head to CareerLink, and find event you're interested in under the Events tab.
What is an Information
Session?
An Information Session is an on-campus discussion and
networking event hosted by a company looking to recruit Fordham students for
internships or full and/or part-time jobs. A representative from the company
will offer information about company culture, opportunities available to
students, and often, they will answer questions from interested students. The
format varies between info sessions, so please check out CareerLink for
additional information about any info session you might be interested in!
