CNN is looking for some students to work as stand-ins for
upcoming rehearsals next week!
They will be filming their annual show “CNN Heroes” that
honors individuals who make extraordinary contributions to humanitarian aid and
make a real difference in their communities. The show will be taped on
Tuesday night, November 19th, and is set to air on Sunday, December
1st.
Stand-ins are needed this coming Monday, November 18th from
7-11pm, and on Tuesday November 19th from 8am-4pm.
Stand-ins should be comfortable with public speaking – they will
be asked to carry on conversations to test our audio equipment, etc.
Additionally, as a stand-in, you’ll get to role play as the host of the show, a
celebrity presenter, or a CNN Hero to rehearse blocking for our camera shots,
audio, lighting, etc. Students with an interest in theatre, broadcast media,
etc may be best suited for this – but it’s open to anyone.
If selected, you’ll get paid: $10/hour.
