The Financial Analyst Program offers a highly experiential, challenging career opportunity with exposure to the firm’s businesses and senior management. Analysts have a unique opportunity to contribute in all facets of transaction generation and execution.

Analyst responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive company and industry research across the renewable and conventional power spaces, as well as energy infrastructure, midstream projects and oil & gas
- Analyze financial statements and detailed financial information to build financial and operating models
- Prepare marketing documents including pitches, lenders presentations, confidential information memoranda, rating agency presentations and teasers
- Assist the deal teams in preparing internal deal memoranda and presenting to various committees
- Create statistical exhibits from various financial analyses
- Maintain a pulse on financial and energy markets and create leveraged loan market documents which examine topical issues and recent deal launches
- Construct comparable enterprise value and leveraged loan analyses to evaluate deal structures and pricing

Successful candidates possess:
- Bachelor’s degree required, with a major/concentration in finance/economics, engineering or environmental sciences preferred
- Internship experience in analytical roles in financial services or engineering required
- Outstanding academic achievement – minimum GPA 3.3

This role will be within the Energy Group of Corporate Finance, specifically Power and Infrastructure, and will not rotate to other Corporate Finance teams. Energy provides value-added financing products and advisory services to higher growth, entrepreneurial companies throughout the energy and power sector. The Energy Group has four major industry focuses: Exploration & Production, Midstream pipeline transportation and related businesses, Oilfield Service, and Power Generation.
