JP Morgan Chase Coming to Campus for an Exciting Opportunity!

This Tuesday, October 15th, JP Morgan will be on campus to provide Fordham students with information about the firm, as well as a few full-time and internship opportunities that they are currently recruiting for.  The presentation will consist of a panel discussion with Fordham Alumni about careers within JP Morgan and an overview of available positions, followed by a brief networking session.  Students of all majors and class years are encouraged to attend.  Light refreshments will also be provided!

JPMC is currently looking for Interns and full-time hires for their Operations Analyst Development Program.  A well-developed and highly-respected program within the firm, candidates will be given a chance to shine within one of the world’s largest banks.  Hires will have the opportunity to be placed within a variety of divisions spanning the entire bank, including corporate, the investment bank, asset management, and more.  Working within operations at JPMC provides an understanding of the end to end impact of measures taken by each group, as well as supports something critical to the functioning of the entire firm and its 2.5 trillion dollars of assets.

“To join the Operations Analyst Development Program allows you to become integral part of the firm to generate revenue, manage risks, and even just function as a whole” says Carol Clancy, a GSB and GBA graduate, who has over 20 years’ experience with the firm which has seen her work in several different functions and locales such as London, Tokyo and New York.  Clancy, who left the firm in 2001 to support her family, returned in 2010 citing the excellent culture that JP Morgan emphasizes, saying “after coming back to a completely different group from a 10 year hiatus, it felt like returning home.”  She says the entire company is very supportive and a great team experience, where everyone wants you to succeed.  This culture enables new employees adapt to a fast-paced and high pressure environment and thrive in it.

Recognizing the value of a liberal arts education and seeking more Fordham grads to join the JPMC ranks, Ms. Clancy invites students of all majors and years to come see what working in banking at a truly global company is all about on Tuesday, October 15 at 5pm in Tognino Hall.

Additionally, there will be two other info sessions with JP Morgan on 10/17 at 6pm, and 10/24 at 5pm.

For more information and to RSVP for Tuesday's info session, head to CareerLink. Once logged in, RSVP under the "Events" tab, and "Info Sessions".  See you there!
