Cathedral of St. John the Divine Hiring!


The Cathedral of St. John the Divine is looking to fill a few part time positions within their A.C.T Program: Adults and Children in Trust.  The organization currently expanding its non-sectarian pre-school services to children on the Westside of Manhattan, and is looking for qualified individuals to join the growing team!

Some available positions include: 
-Teacher Assistants
-Group Leaders
-Homework Helpers
-Sports/Art Specialists
Positions are available during mornings/afternoons (2:30 – 6:15 pm).

Additionally, the school is also looking for teachers and instructors to work with parents and toddlers to work in classrooms and labs.

- Parent-Toddler Instructors (p/t available now): 
Lead morning sessions with parents and toddlers in a large gym and art room. Morning sessions are held between 8:30 am – noon, twice per week.

- Head Teachers and Assistant Teachers: 
Create a learning environment centered around a natural science curriculum using the Cathedral campus and classrooms as learning labs. Child-centered curriculum on a beautiful campus. Head teacher must have completed college. Prefer candidates with classroom experience, science background and comfortable handling small animals and working in a garden. DOE Certification preferred but not required for all positions.

Cerebral Palsy of Westchester Job Fair!


Since 1949, Cerebral Palsy of Westchester has been the leading non-profit organization in Westchester and Fairfield County, providing essential educational services, direct services, vocational training, recreation, rehabilitation and advocacy to children and adults with cerebral palsy and other disabilities. Internship Available for THIS FALL!


DigiStar Media, located in Harrison, NJ, is looking for a Digital Marketing/Social Media Intern to start this fall! They’re looking for someone to intern 12-15 hours a week for a duration of one or two semesters.

RESPONSIBILITIES
The Social Media/Digital Marketing Intern will be responsible for a variety of assignments including: written and visual content creation for social media profiles for the agency and its clients, social media monitoring, research and analysis and competitive tracking. In addition, the intern will assist in researching material for my undergraduate class in the School of Professional and Continuing Studies: The Business and Practice of New Media. I am looking for students who have a passion for digital marketing and communications with an emphasis on how businesses use new media techniques. Applicants should be active in social media and have excellent writing skills.  Experience with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator is a bonus. Digital Photography and Video experience is a plus.

QUALIFICATIONS
Excellent writing skills, social media savvy, digital design, photography and video skills are a plus.

What is the Fordham Alumni Mentoring Program?
The Fordham Alumni Mentoring Program pairs high-achieving students with alumni in their respective fields of interest.  Interested students will be paired with young alumni, and these relationships will give students an opportunity to network with the young professionals with similar career interests as themselves, and gain insight into their field of interest from the perspective of Fordham alum. Mentors provide invaluable career guidance to mentees throughout this unique networking opportunity.
