Anthos Property Management LLC is hiring for an Entry Level Property Accountant.
Will be trained in accounting for residential, commercial, retail and cooperative corporations in the following duties:
- Accounts Receivables
- Posting cash receipts
- Billing of tenant charges
- Operating Cost Recoveries (RE Tax, CAM, Fuel, Electric)
- Vacancy loss tracking
- Section 8 subsidy review
- Tenant account analysis
- Landlord/tenant legal review
- Collections
- Lease Abstracts
- Accounts Payable
- Bank Reconciliation
- Monthly general ledger adjusting entries
- Monthly reporting to owners
- Quarterly reporting of Financial Statements
- Working capital requisitions
- Operating budget preparation
- Budget variance review
- Property setup and Closing entries
- Preparation and submission of tax return work papers
Qualifications:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite applications.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Ability to effectively present information.
- Conduct basic financial analysis.
