If you were wondering who some of the companies were who will be at next week's career fair, or who they are looking for, you've come to the right place! These are a few of our favorite companies, with the most unique opportunities!
Practice Makes Perfect:
"Practice Makes Perfect (PMP) is currently looking to fill Teaching Fellow positions for the 2016 summer in NYC. We seek motivated and driven college students who are passionate about education and interested in pursuing a career in teaching. The position is available to junior and senior undergraduates and graduate students. The PMP teaching fellowship offers a unique opportunity to gain first-hand teaching experience in New York City’s high need communities through our 5 week academic intensive summer program that pairs academically struggling students with near-peer mentors. In addition to gaining comprehensive teacher training and support from certified teachers, Teaching Fellows make an impact on the lives of students and contribute to eliminating summer learning loss and narrowing the achievement gap."
Blue Engine:

BETAs are talented recent college graduates who provide individualized instruction and reduce student-to-instructor ratios to help students build the academic skills and mindsets required to succeed in college. Additionally, Blue Engine provides a teacher residency path for BETAs who wish to become certified, full-time teachers."
Alliance for Catholic Education:

Saha Global:
"Saha Global is looking for volunteers to participate in our Global Leadership Program June 1st -22nd, 2016, in northern Ghana. Young leaders who participate in Saha’s three-week program are trained to become Saha Field Representatives. Before traveling abroad, they fundraise to cover the start-up materials needed for each community business, as well as their in-country travel expenses. Once in Ghana, the Field Reps participate in a vigorous and comprehensive training program designed and led by our Saha Global team. Groups of four are then partnered with a rural community where they first introduce the business concept and its particular health, social and economic benefits, and then train local women to launch either a clean water or solar business.
By the end of the three-week program, these businesses will be up and running and the women entrepreneurs will be fully in charge of all operations. Our Saha Global team will then monitor the business for the next 5 years to ensure long-term success.
Volunteers will come from a diverse array of backgrounds, majors and professions. "
