Sales Team Internship
Pandora is looking for a junior or senior undergraduate intern to work with Pandora political advertising sales team. Over the past 2 years Pandora has worked with over 300 political campaigns from the 2012 presidential election to congressional races to local municipal elections including the NYC and Los Angeles mayoral races.  Pandora reaches overs 72MM monthly listeners in the US and we are preparing to grow our political ad sales team for the 2014 midterm election.
This is a sales internship position that will work closely with political and advocacy advertising team to help us grow the business. 

Responsibilities:
- Audit of competitive spending activity on cable and digital using media audit tools.
- Updates on race polling/candidate momentum (Cook Report, Real Clear Politics).
- Assist with monthly political update report for ad sales team
- Assist with audience metric requests for congressional district, statewide and other political races.
- Pulling inventory forecasts using Google inventory systems
- Building media plans for clients and agency partners
- Work with sales leadership on events and conferences in DC and other markets.

Requirements:
- Experienced with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Powerpoint.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable in a fast-paced and changing environment
- Experience with digital/online publishing or traditional TV/Radio advertising a plus.
- Entering orders into Slingshot and facilitating the Insertion Order process
- Pulling launch reports, delivery reports and screenshots
- Passion for media and advertising
- Interest and knowledgeable in current affairs/issues and US politics

Start Date: 2/1/2014
Location: NYC office in mid-town Manhattan
Compensation: Hourly Rate
Estimated Hours Per Week: 20 hours
